Accepting a route

You can accept a route from the Carrier Route list page or from the Carrier Route detail page.

To accept a route:

  1. Select Transportation > Carrier Route.
  2. Click the Search arrow on the search toolbar to display a list of carrier routes.
    Use the filter options on the search toolbar to refine the list.
  3. Select a route to accept.
  4. Select Actions > Accept Route.
    The Accept Route dialog is displayed.
  5. Complete this information:
    Tracking # Type
    Specify the type of tracking number to assign to the route.
    Tracking #
    Type the tracking number to assign to the route.
    Secondary Carrier
    Optionally, type the name of a secondary carrier if you are acting as a broker and the actual carrier who will arrive at the warehouse does not belong to your organization.
    After you accept the route, you can add more tracking numbers or change existing numbers, as required. When you select to accept multiple routes from the Carrier Route list page, you must enter the tracking IDs for each route separately.
  6. Click Save to save the information. The Accept Route dialog closes, and you return to the Carrier Route list or detail page.
  7. Click Messages to display the Route Messages dialog and confirm that the route was accepted.
