Working with the Carrier Route detail page

Use to view details for a selected carrier route.

On this page, you can perform these actions, depending on the status of the carrier route:

Information Description
Carrier Route Number An identifier, not to exceed ten characters, for the carrier route associated with the shipment, generated during the rating and routing process.
Status The status of the shipment at the time the user selects to view details:
  • New - a route is manually created and saved.
  • Carrier Selected - a route is created and a carrier is selected but the route is not tendered.
  • Tendered - the route is tendered and pending acceptance or rejection.
  • Tender Accepted - the route is accepted by the carrier.
  • Tender Rejected - the route is rejected by the carrier, when sequential tendering is not active, or the route is rejected by the last carrier in a sequential tender list.
  • No Rates Found - the route is created but the rating and routing process is unable to assign a carrier and rate the route.
  • Tender Canceled - the shipper cancels the tender to the assigned carrier.
  • Canceled - the shipper canceled the route and the shipments return to a New status.
  • In Transit - a route has left the first stop warehouse but has not been unloaded at the delivery location.
  • Delivered - the route has been unloaded at the delivery location.
Carrier The name of the carrier associated with the shipment.
Secondary Carrier A secondary carrier specified by the carrier when tendering the route.
Carrier Tracking Numbers One of the tracking numbers, if multiple, specified by the carrier once the route is tender accepted.
Freight Term Payment terms for the freight charges, such as prepaid, collect, or third party.
Mode The transport mode of the carrier route, for example: Motor (TL), LTL, ocean, air, intermodal, parcel, rail.
Service Level The service level assigned to the route, for example: Ground, Expedited, Next Day Air, Overnight.
Total Pieces The total number of pieces of the shipment.
Total Weight The total weight of the shipment.
Weight Unit of Measure The weight unit of measure of the shipment.
Total Volume The total volume associated with the shipment.
Volume Unit of Measure The volume unit of measure of the shipment.
Freight Charges The total freight charges associated with the carrier route.
Currency The currency associated with the freight charges.
Rate Contract Name The name of the rate contract associated with the carrier selection and the rate for carrier route.
Route Type The route type for the carrier route. Either Single, Aggregation, or Multi-stop is displayed.
Equipment Type A description of the equipment type required for shipments assigned to the route.
Equipment Length Length requirements for the equipment type.
Equipment Attribute Any special attribute description associated with the equipment, for example, reefer, tarps, heated, vented.
Distance The number of miles that make up the route as calculated by the rating and routing process; either PC Miler, Rand McNally, or User Defined is displayed.
Optimization Run ID The ID number associated with an optimization run if shipments are grouped as an optimized route.
Pool ID The common ID number that ties the shipments and carrier routes together for the pooled route.
