Viewing unit information

Use the Units tab to view information for each unit associated with the shipment. The information on the Units tab represents shippable unit data grouped by UOM type. For shipments originating outside of the TM, this information describes the physical way in which the product is transported and becomes available when the system of record sends a loaded or shipped status. Until this change in status occurs, the unit information is copied from the item information on the Item tab.

To rate and route a shipment, the shipment must contain at least the ship from, ship to, payment type, owner type, earliest ship date or latest delivery date, and one unit that includes a weight.
