Viewing freight charges for the shipment carrier route
Use the Freight Charges tab to view the itemized freight charges associated with the carrier route.
| Information | Description |
|---|---|
| Item | A description of the charge item such as a basic cost or an accessorial charge such as a fuel surcharge or special pickup/delivery charge. |
| Format | The format used to calculate the rate such as cost per unit, mileage. |
| Rate | The cost per unit for the charge item. |
| Currency | The currency associated with the rate. |
| Units | If applicable, the units used in calculating the rate. |
| Rate As | If applicable, the value used with the units
to calculate the rate.
For example, a fuel surcharge rate is $.35/mile, and the units are 786 miles. The Rate As is 275.1 (.35 * 786). |
| Minimum Charge | If applicable, the minimum charge for the item. |
| Subtotal | The total calculated value for the item. |
| Currency | The currency associated with the freight charges item. |
