Understanding carrier communications

IDX is an optional third-party component that facilitates EDI translation and transmission for those Infor customers having EDI-enabled carriers. Infor SCE Transportation Management also provides e-mail alerts and the Carrier Access page as an alternative solution for those customers or carriers that choose not to communicate with TM via EDI. This diagram summarizes the communication between TM and those carriers that are EDI enabled.
