TM master data requirements

Before you can take advantage of functionality in the TM workbench, you must configure this information in the appropriate Enterprise > Configuration option.

Only users with a role of Administrator can access the Enterprise > Configuration option.

Information Navigation Setup requirements
Facility Warehouse facility: Warehouse1 > WMS >Administration> Facility This is the warehouse setup and should already be set up for the Infor SCE application. The Facility name (party name) must match the parent-level organization name within the rating and routing feature and is used as a seller in the Master Routing Guide.
Ship From Enterprise facility: Enterprise > Configuration > Trading Partner > Ship From This may not be set up as a part of the initial master data setup but must be set up if you plan to use TM. All "ship from" locations must have a Ship From setup, even when the location is a warehouse. This allows "ship from" locations to be accessible for TM Configuration Rule setup. The Ship From value must match the warehouse's Facility warehouse setup.
Ship To Enterprise facility: Enterprise > Configuration > Trading Partner > Ship To This should already be set up for the Infor SCE application. This allows "ship to" locations to be accessible for TM configuration rule setup. You must also add the warehouse facility as a "ship to" location when the warehouse can potentially be a "ship to" location, for inbound shipments or for a transfer, so that the location is accessible for TM configuration rule setup. The Ship To company must match an organization name in the rating and routing feature if used as a buyer in the Master Routing Guide.
Create Carriers Enterprise facility: Enterprise > Configuration > Trading Partner > Carrier > New All non-Infor SCE Small Parcel Shipping (SPS) carriers must be set up for use in TM. The same carrier must also be set up as an organization in the rating and routing feature. The Carrier SCAC field must match the Org Reference SCAC in the rating and routing feature. Do not select "Small Parcel System Carrier" for carriers that are to be used on shipments routing through TM.
Create Carrier Users Enterprise facility: Security > Users > New After creating a user with a user name and password, complete these steps:
  1. Click Add Roles.
  2. Select Carrier, and click OK.
  3. Click Properties.
  4. Click the Infor SCE Trading Partner Control tab. Select the carrier with which this user is associated.
  5. Click Save.
Carrier users must select the Enterprise facility upon logon to access their carrier routes. To eliminate this step, add an Administrator role to this carrier user when you create the user, log on as the user, set the default facility on the Personalization page, and then remove the Administrator role for the user.
