Working with Exchange rates

The Exchange Rate table contains the exchange rates used to convert one currency to another. If you have licensed the Oanda FXML service, this table is automatically populated through regular feeds from Oanda. If you manage exchange rates manually, you can populate this table through the upload feature provided.

Exchange rates are using in the Rate Query feature to ensure rates displayed are converted to the currency of the user.

This table shows the Exchange Rate Table columns:

Column heading	Description
From Currency	This is the three-letter currency code for the currency from which the exchange rate is converting.
To Currency	This is the three-letter currency code for the currency to which the exchange rate is converting.
Effective Date	This is the date the exchange rate is effective.
Rate	This is the currency exchange rate that will convert the From Currency to the To Currency .
