Looking up an ASN

During the receiving process, you can look up an ASN on the RF device. The search retrieves ASNs using information about the ASN that you specify in the ASN Lookup screen.

To look up an ASN during the receiving process:

  1. With the ASN screen open, press F2. The ASN Lookup (ASNLKUP) screen is displayed.
  2. Specify this information:
    • Item
    • PO (Purchase order)
    • CRef (Carrier Reference from ASN)
    • Pallet ID/LPN
Note:  At least one of the above fields must be input to limit the search. The Item can be an alternate item, as well as a valid number from the item master.
  3. Press Enter. The application returns all open ASNs that match the selection criteria input. If more than one ASN is found, a scrollable list screen displays. Press 6 (forward) or 4 (back) to scroll.
  4. Select an ASN and press Enter. The ASN screen is displayed with information in the ASN field.
  5. To return to main receiving screen and begin the receiving process, press Enter.
