RF-assisted picking means that the picker uses the RF device to update
the status of the shipment order. The picker is in control of the picking
order. For this reason, RF-assisted picking typically uses either carton labels
or RF-assisted pick tickets to provide the carton ID and shipment order
information. These types of RF-assisted picking are available:
- Paper Pick.
Use Paper Pick to confirm the details of the pick such as the item,
location, license plate, and quantity.
- Search Picks.
This pick option is a cross between RF-assisted picking and
task-directed picking. Use this option to search open picks by order number,
item number, case ID, the pick from location, or the pick to location.
- Case ID.
Use this option to pick a full case or the same item or to quickly
confirm multiple items were picked into a single case. This method does not
require that you confirm the item number, quantity, or location for the pick;
you confirm only the case ID that is picked.
This section defines RF-assisted picking and describes the different
RF-assisted options available.
Note: A key feature of
Infor SCE Warehouse

is the ability to modify RF screens to control and process flow throughout the
operation. This includes changing text descriptions, field sequence, field
display, and the data that must be captured. For this reason, some of
information presented in this guide might not match your RF screen display. In
addition, information included in this guide may vary than the RF screen images
within the guide. For more information on modifying the RF screens, see the
