Shipment Order Splitting

Shipment orders can be split for one of two reasons:

• Infor SCE Warehouse Management allocates, picks, and begins loading a shipment order. If the entire order cannot fit on one vehicle, WM splits the order, as needed, to accommodate shipment.
• Infor SCE Transportation Management analyzes an order to determine carrier rating and routing. If a shipment exceeds the weight and/or volume specifications defined within carrier contracts, TM splits the shipment to maximize available carrier rate contract attributes.
